Simon Noon (Managing Director & CEO)

Simon Noon is an experienced business executive and was a co-founder and Managing Director of West Rock Resources Ltd, until it was acquired by Pacifico Minerals Ltd in 2013. Mr Noon was instrumental in the planning and execution of West Rock's Colombian strategy, building a first class team of industry professionals in the country, developing key local relationships and securing all current projects and applications in West Rock's portfolio. Mr Noon has an excellent track record in business development, with a proven ability to lead diverse teams of professionals, successfully identify potential opportunities and develop effective strategies. Prior to establishing West Rock Resources in 2011, Mr Noon was the Executive Director of ASX listed company, Groote Resources Ltd, where he managed the company from a market capitalisation of under $5 million to market highs in excess of $100 million. Mr Noon is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Richard Monti (Chairman)

Richard has broad experience over a 26 year career working in the technical, commercial, marketing and financial fields of the international exploration and mining industry. He has worked for a number of international and Australian companies including Anaconda Nickel, RTZ Exploration, the North Group and the Normandy Group. In 2004, he founded Ventnor Capital Pty Ltd, a boutique consultancy firm which provides corporate advisory and investment banking services to junior and mid-cap listed resources companies. Richard left Ventnor Capital in 2010 primarily to focus on Azimuth Resources Ltd, which was subsequently acquired by Troy Resources Ltd. Richard is also a Director of Potash Minerals Ltd and Troy Resources Ltd.

Peter Harold (Non-Executive Director)

Peter is a Process Engineer with over 30 years of corporate experience in the minerals industry, specialising in financing, marketing, business development and general corporate activities. Peter has extensive experience within the development and operation of sulphide and laterite nickel projects, together with various zinc, copper and gold projects. Peter is currently Managing Director of Panoramic Resources Limited, a nickel mining company he co-founded in March 2001. Prior to joining Panoramic Resources, Peter held various senior management positions with Shell Australia, Australian Consolidated Minerals Limited, Normandy Mining Limited, MPI Mines Limited and the Gutnick network of companies. Peter is also the Chairman on the Youth Focus Board, an independent, not for profit charity that focusses on the prevention of youth suicide and depression.

Andrew Parker (Non-Executive Director)

Andrew holds a law degree from the University of Western Australia and has extensive experience in the exploration and mining industry. Andrew was the co-founder and until 2008 was the Managing Director of Perth based corporate advisory and venture capital firm, Trident Capital Pty Ltd. Prior to establishing Trident Capital Pty Ltd in 2002, he was legal counsel to B Digital Limited, an ASX listed company, with his principal role being to oversee the international expansion of the company into South Africa and the USA.

Barrie Bolton (Head of Project Development)

Experience of more than 30 years in the mining industry, Barrie brings a wealth of experience to the management team. For 18 of those years, he was either advising, or managing, BHP’s exploration program for manganese worldwide. He has worked in diverse and often challenging exploration environments, negotiating access and agreements with local land owners and government authorities. Prior to BHP, Barrie was involved for almost 10 years in the geological characterisation of the world-class, Groote Eylandt manganese deposit. Barrie has managed exploration for mesothermal Au in Ghana, porphyry Cu-Au exploration in Mongolia (including early drill testing at Oyu Tolgoi) and over 6 years at Ok Tedi Cu-Au mine in PNG. He was formerly a Director of Australian-listed company, Groote Resources.
